About FoodTools
Your trusted kitchen companion for recipes, tools, and food knowledge.
What Is FoodTools?
FoodTools is a food and recipe website based at foilfoodpouches.com. Our goal is simple: to give home cooks a reliable, clutter-free place to find original recipes, free cooking tools, and practical food guides that actually work in everyday kitchens.
Every recipe and article on this site is written by food enthusiasts β people who genuinely enjoy cooking, experimenting in the kitchen, and sharing what they have learned. We are not a restaurant, a culinary school, or a food brand. We are home cooks who take food seriously and believe that clear, well-tested information should be free and accessible to everyone.
All content is produced with care and tested in real home kitchen conditions, using standard household equipment and ingredients available at typical supermarkets. What you see on this site reflects what actually worked on a real kitchen counter, not a professional test lab.

How Recipes Are Created and Checked
We take recipe accuracy seriously. Here is how a recipe goes from idea to published post on FoodTools:
- Development in a home kitchen: Every recipe starts life on an ordinary kitchen counter, using the kind of equipment and ingredients you would realistically have at home β standard oven, household pots and pans, supermarket ingredients.
- Precise measurement: Ingredients are measured carefully using both weight (grams/ounces) and volume (cups/tablespoons) where applicable, so that the recipe is as repeatable as possible for you at home.
- At least one full test cook: A recipe is cooked through completely at least once before it is published. If something does not work, it goes back for revision β not onto the site.
- Cooking times verified: Timing is checked against what actually happened in the kitchen. We note where results may vary (for example, fan ovens versus conventional ovens) and include guidance where relevant.
- Nutrition information estimated clearly: Where nutrition information is provided, it is calculated using standard nutritional databases and is clearly labelled as an estimate. Figures will vary depending on specific brands, portion sizes, and preparation methods. We never present nutrition data as clinically verified.
We believe in transparency: if a recipe has known quirks, substitution limits, or technique-sensitive steps, we say so directly in the post rather than hiding it.
